Loft Boarding & Loft Board Insulation

Standard Loft Boarding

Standard loft board insulation is placed on top of the existing joints with no need for it to be raised. This type of loft insulation and loft insulation boarding is suitable for lofts with 100mm of traditional insulation on the floor of the loft.

We use high-density, moisture-resistant P5-grade chipboard flooring, specifically designed for loft spaces. Whether you need a fully boarded loft or just a small section, we can tailor the loft boarding installation to suit your needs.

Raised Loft Boarding

Raised loft board insulation is achieved by using Loft Legs to extend the height of the existing joints with so that the maximum amount of traditional insulation at 300mm can be used.

The loft boarding insulation we use is high-density moisture-resistant P5 grade chipboard flooring that has been specifically designed for use in lofts. Giving you the perfect balance of loft insulation and boarding.

Loft Legs

Loft Board Insulation Legs

Loft Legs raise your loft floor by 175mm, preventing insulation compression and enhancing energy efficiency, which can help save on heating costs. This creates a secure, walkable platform above 270mm of quilt insulation, strong enough to support up to 25kg per square metre.

Manufactured in the UK from recycled materials, Loft Legs are rigorously tested to exceed BS EN 1991-1-1:2002 standards, ensuring durability and reliability for your storage needs.
