What Is Skeilings Insulation?
Skeilings are the sloping sections of ceiling commonly found beneath pitched roofs, particularly in loft conversions, attic rooms and properties where the upstairs ceiling follows the roof slope.
Because these areas sit directly beneath the roof, poorly insulated skeilings can allow significant heat loss and make rooms harder to keep warm. Correctly installed skeilings insulation creates a thermal barrier within the roof slope while allowing for the ventilation needed to manage moisture and protect the roof structure.
